Government Defeat in Lords
on Housing and Planning Bill
Monday 11/04/2016
On 11/04/2016 the government had a defeat in the House of Lords on an amendment
to the Housing and Planning Bill: To require the repayment of the 20% discount of
market value applicable to starter homes, reduced by 1/20th for each year of
occupation by the purchaser, for a period of 20 years.
This was defeat number 37 in the parliamentary session.
