Providing of reservation to the disabled persons in respect of Class-I to IV posts/services to be filled in by direct recruitment - Instructions thereto regarding.

I am directed to say that the State Government has provided
3% reservation to the Persons with Disabilities in the services of the State/State Public
Sector Undertakings/Autonomous Bodies etc.
in direct recruitment. to Class-I to
Class-IV posts/services vide Deparlment of Personnel's letter No.Per
(AP)-C-B
(12)-1/99, dated the 2 nd
December, 1999. It has come to the notice of the Government that these instructions and subsequent instructions issued by the Government on the subject are not being followed properly ..

In order to achieve proper representation of the Persons with Disabilities in the services of the State, it is emphasized that the instructions issued by the
Government on the subject from time to time be complied with strictly.
All the
Departments/State Public Sector Undertakings /Autonomous Bodies etc. are emphasized to identify posts; in the establishment, which can be reserved· for the persons with disability, having regard to the type of work carried' on in any department or establishment, as per provisions of the Rule 32 and 33 of the Persons with Disabilities
(Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995. The posts reserved for the Persons with Disabilities be filled up strictly in accordance with the earmarked points in the Reservation Roster.

These instructions may kindly be brought to the notice of all concerned for strict compliance.
