Call for abstracts The Spring Servitization Conference 2016 Servitization: Shift, Extend and Transform Conference, 16-17 May 2016, Manchester, UK. The Spring Servitization Conference (SSC16) is dedicated to understanding how manufacturers and technology-innovators can grow and sustain their revenues and profits through services. This year the conference will be hosted jointly by Aston Business School, Alliance Manchester Business School and the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre at the University of Sheffield. The conference will again bring together the world’s leading researchers and practitioners to debate and engage with the theory and practice of servitization. The focus this year is on processes of business transformation to extend services strategies, but papers are welcome on all aspects of servitization. Likewise, we also welcome relevant contributions from the associated communities of Product-Service Systems, Industrial Product Service Systems, Circular Economy, Industry 4.0, The Internet of Things, Services Science, Through-life Engineering Services, Service Infusion, Solutions Marketing and Services Dominant Logic. The Programme is designed to encourage strong participation and extensive debate. All contributors will have an opportunity to present to the whole conference audience, and engage in both structured and semi-structured panel sessions to discuss their work. Papers will be double blind refereed and published in proceedings (hard and soft copies available). The conference will also feature keynotes from senior executives at leading manufacturing businesses, and there are a range of industry sponsored awards for best papers. Abstracts of no more than 300 words should be submitted to ssc2016@aston.ac.uk by the 16th January 2016. Full papers then need to be submitted by 12th March 2016. More information about this process and the conference is available at www.aston.ac.uk/ssc2016 Games Design for Servitization, 18th May 2016, AMRC, UK.
