She is the developer of the influential Roter Interaction Analysis System (RIAS), which has been used in over 150 studies world-wide. The lecture will explore challenges and opportunities for future work in the field of health communication with particular reference to exploring the predictors, the influence of clinical contexts and the consequences of patient centeredness.
