1.1
Replace broken temperature sensors (mirror motor,
beamsplitter, aperture stop)
22-May-03
27-Oct-03
Paul Schnettler
The broken mirror motor temperature sensor has been
replaced. Beamsplitter and aperture stop thermistors have
not been added to the system and will not be added prior to
the ATOST deployment.
1.3
Replace loose hex standoffs in electronics box and stake
down
22-May-03
27-Oct-03
Joe Taylor, Nick Ciganovich
Hex stand-offs replaced and staked with 3M epoxy. Staked
all accessible non-locked fasteners.
Electronics box board source voltages measured,
connectors visually inspected. PDS connector 3 was not
accessible due to new fan/heater placement. Paul S made
up some extra long DMM leads to reach other PDS
connectors. The leads have been added to the S-HIS
EGSE box.
1.4
Thorough electronics box checkout, especially SEK31
board.

Process flight data (030314, THORpex to Dryden flight)
from mid to end of flight to see if the observed noise
performance improvement at 0127 UTC is an artifact of our
data processing methods.
Pull in 030314 flight data through Matlab (shiscollectall) to
verify that current processing is not creating compression
artifacts.
Include thorough analysis of sh030314 flight data in noise

This has been discussed, but to my knowledge needs to be
implemented.
Henry Buijs is certain that the laser voltage signature is
Nick Ciganovich, Dan LaPorte due to laser mode hopping and not an issue; a metrology
system mask is not required.

Ben H and Steve D have confirmed that the growing noise
problem was only associated with a recent version of the
DMV processing software. The problem has been
corrected, and a new version has been released. Joe will
release a summary report (November 2003).
Joe Taylor, Ray Garcia, Steve Solved. See request tracker for details. New rsh2fbf
Dutcher
addresses the problem.
