NIC Mandi, Himachal Pradesh Conferred PC Quest Award 2016
Thirteenth CIO Leadership Forum was organized by Cyber Media (India) Ltd.
from 11th March to 13th March, 2016. During the event Schemes Monitoring
Information System (SMIS) developed by NIC District Centre Mandi, Himachal
Pradesh has been awarded “PC Quest Best IT Implementation Award”.

Schemes Monitoring Information System (SMIS) developed by NIC Mandi was
awarded Jury's Choice for Best E-gov Project. SMIS is a web based solution
for the whole process of sanctioning the Developmental Schemes under
Decentralized Planning. The System provides features right from schemes entry,
sanctioning & disbursing of funds, sanctioning of additional funds if required,
periodic progress of the ongoing works and entry of utilization & completion
certificates. The physical and financial progress of each and every sanctioned
work/scheme is recorded in the system. The Project has been implemented in all
Districts of Himachal Pradesh (except for the tribal districts).
