Expression of Interest
Director, Women and Child Department, Government of Himachal Pradesh invites Expression of Interest
in sealed cover from agencies competent in the field and placement linked IT training. The last date for
submission of EOI, in sealed cover, to the Director, Women and Child Development, Cedar Home,
Brentwood Estate, Himland, Shimla-171001 is 16.11.2015 till 1.00 P.M. The same will be opened by a
committee constituted for this purpose on the same day at 3.00 P.M. in the office chamber of Joint
Director, Women and Child Development.
Scope of Work
To provide basic computer training and employment oriented training to around 100 children residing in
Bal / Balika Ashram-cum-Children Home at Tutikandi (Shimla) and Arki, Distt Solan. The children are
studying in 9th to 10+2 classes.
Venues for Courses
The training shall be given in the above mentioned Ashrams/ Homes only.
Infrastructure for the training
The infrastructure related to training / activity i.e. hardware/software or any other training related items
shall be provided by the agency only.

Minimum Placement Assurance
The agency must provide some minimum assurance with regards to the placement of the children in job
preferably within Himachal Pradesh. Preference shall be given to agencies with highest placement
commitment. Final payment will be made by this Department only after the placement of the children.
Financial Aspects under the Project
Expenditure / Fees per beneficiary should be clearly defined. Any other charges/ taxes, if any, must be
clearly mentioned.
Terms and Conditions
Agency should be any company/firm/Society/Trust, which is in operation in the field of
education for last five years.
Minimum average annual turn over of the agency for the last three years should not be less than
Rs. Thirty Lakhs.
Agency should have coordinated / completed a single training project of minimum 300
beneficiaries in last three years having good placement record.
Agency should have a permanent office in Himachal Pradesh for the last 3 years.
Agency should not have been blacklisted by any government agency.
While submitting the expression of interest, earnest money of Rs. 20,000/- must be deposited in
the shape of Demand Draft in the name of Director, Women and Child Development, Himachal
Pradesh, payable at Shimla in a sealed cover.
