It is also called Minato City in English. As of 1 April 2013, it has an official population of 232,786,[1] and a population density of 11,444.40 persons per km². The total area is 20.34 km².[2] Minato hosts 49 embassies. It is also home to various companies, including Honda, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd., Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, NEC, Sony,[3] Fujitsu[4] and Toshiba. • Chiyoda (千代田区, Chiyoda-ku?) is a special ward located in central Tokyo Metropolis, Japan. In English, it is called Chiyoda City.[1] Chiyoda consists of the Imperial Palace and a surrounding radius of about a kilometer. As of October 2007, the ward has an estimated population of 45,543 and a population density of 3,912 people per km², making it by far the least populated of the special wards. The total area is 11.64 km², of which the Imperial Palace, Hibiya Park, National Museum of Modern Art, and Yasukuni Shrine take up approximately 2.6 km², or 22% of the total area.
