Purpose:
The Strategic Planning Task Force was formed to develop and present a
comprehensive strategic plan to the President, faculty and staff of Gordon
State College that included the development of a vision, mission, core
values and strategic priorities that would serve the College from 20132018.

Member Selection Process: Members of the Strategic Planning Task Force were nominated by
the President, Chair and Co-Chair of the task force with the intent of selecting a representative
group of faculty, staff, students, and external constituents to participate. The nominees were
vetted and the task force presented with its formal charge by the President on September 14,
2012.
