These non‐
academic online and face‐to‐face classes are designed to promote personal and professional development solutions. Unit Outcomes Assessment Results Report 2014‐2015 Goals 1. Enhance Summer Camp Programs 2. Enhance the Community Education Webpages 3. To further the connection with the community Outcomes 1. Added an additional week for the science camp as well as the soccer camp. Held the first basketball camp with team & individual photos, plus had two pro basketball players as guests. 2. No major changes have taken place for the webpages. However, we are in process of updating the online registration page to have a cohesive look of the Gordon website 3. Chamber events such as Business‐After‐Hours remain ongoing. Joined Gordon’s basketball coach with the radio show, Good Morning, Griffin, to promote basketball camp, community education and Gordon athletics Review of Outcomes 1. Met 2. In progress 3. In progress Evidence of Improvement 1. Seven out of eight summer camps met or exceeded the minimum amount of registrants needed to cover the cost of each camp. 2. Increased use of social media for marketing and monthly updates. 2. Added a new science camp for ages 5‐12. Included lunches with the Soccer camp to ensure children have access to nutritious meals 3. Met with webmaster to improve the CE webpage 4. Gave presentations to the chamber breakfast for both Barnesville and Griffin Chamber Chapters. Participated in vendor fairs and other community events. Ed2go reported that our third fiscal quarter has increased 241% from last year’s quarter. 2. Online registration/communication has increased which reduces mailing cost. 3. Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance has been completed and in use since September 2011. Review of Outcomes 1. Met: Profitability of CE programs increased due to increase in participation of online programming utilizing Ed2Go and the reduction of mailings. 2. 2. Met: Community Education is in compliance with the payment card industry (PCI) Evidence of Improvement 1. Reduction in paper and mailing has increased the profit margin. 2. The threat of identity theft and stolen credit card has significantly been reduced.
