Society of Research Fellows (SRF)
Purpose:
Enhance the professional, academic, and social lives of postdocs at TSRI through various professional
and social events providing a networking platform for career development and to foster a sense of
community among postdocs.
Meets:
Usually the 3rd Thursday of the month 12 noon – 1 pm. See calendar of events at

Happy Hour:
Usually the 3rd Friday of the month 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm, check calendar for location and exact dates.

WELCOME LUNCH: Usually the third Tuesday of the month at 12:30am in cafeteria dining room,
Building B. Lunch will be provided. You will receive an email reminder from SRF with exact details.

Purpose:
Enhance public speaking skills, develop leadership skills, and improve English as a Second Language.
Meets:

Network for Women in Science (NWiS)
Purpose:
To build a sense of community among the women at Scripps Florida, in order to network, receive support,
and create a place for discourse on women’s issues.
Meets:
Usually the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 12 noon – 1 pm. Hosts guest speakers and social events
