Pain Management Clinic The Pain Management Clinic is a multi-disciplinary department that provides treatments for chronic pain conditions. The Clinic offers a wide range of treatments. Some are aimed at reducing the severity of pain such as drugs, injections, TENS (an electrical stimulation device) and acupuncture. Other treatments are aimed at reducing the disability and/or the distress caused by pain, including the approach adopted by the physiotherapists and psychologists. After an initial assessment, multiple sclerosis (MS) patients are seen according to their treatment plan, which may range from weekly to six monthly appointments.
