PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN BERPIDATO

Abstract
The objective of the research is to find out there is a correlation between lecture
listening intensity, textbook comprehension, organization participation, and public speaking.
The research was conducted at Yogyakarta Islamic religion high school. The size of
sample was 100 selected by random sampling. Data was collected by questioner and test. Data
was analyzed by correlation statistict.
The research reveals that there are positive correlations between lecture listening
intensity and public speaking, textbook comprehension with public speaking, organization
participation and public speaking, and furhermore, there is positive correlation between those
three independent variables and public speaking. Based on the findings above, there strong
evidence to suggest that lecture listening intensity, textbook comprehension, organization
participation can improve public speaking.
