Faculty Service-Learning Mini-Grants Available
With the goal of enhancing and promoting service-learning at PVAMU, a mini-grant
program has been created to help fund innovative projects for faculty and their students up
to $1000. Funds will support:
Evaluation of a community-based research project or service-learning initiative;
Creation of a new or improved service-learning course;
A new service-learning initiative or the further development of an existing one; or
Professional development related to community-based research or service-learning.
Mini-grant projects should be innovative, include community input, and may be crossdisciplinary.
Deadline is Friday July 11, 2014 by 5 p.m.
