NOTICE
For Engagement of Project Staff under Sponsored Projects
Applications are invited from highly motivated and academically sound candidates with an
interest to conduct high impact research on the topics of environmental importance. The research may
pursue Ph.D degree with the generation of high quality skilled human resource in the field of
environmental materials science and metrology in chemistry. These two themes are high priority
research areas of NEERI. The project (s) details and required essential qualifications are given below:

PA-II: 3 (Temporary)
The engagement is purely on temporary basis, which may be extended or curtailed depending on
the duration of the sponsored/consultancy project, satisfactory performance /conduct of the appointee.
The tenure of project assistant at the time of appointment shall be for a period of one year and coterminus with the project, whichever is earlier.
The engagement shall not be an appointment in CSIR/NEERI, temporary or otherwise. It would,
therefore, not confer any right/claim, implicit or explicit for consideration/observation.

on or before February 15, 2016.
Eligible candidates are to appear to Selection Committee and the date of interview will be
intimated separately. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing for the interview. Candidates who do
not fulfil the prescribed educational qualification will not be called for interview.
