Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), a Public Sector Undertaking under Ministry of Defence, desires to conduct
SPECIAL RECRUITMENT DRIVE FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES (PWDs) WALK-IN
SELECTION PROCESS FOR FILLING UP OF SHORTFALL & CURRENT VACANCIES. Only
persons suffering from not less than 40% disability will be treated / considered as physically challenged
candidates as per the Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights & Full Participation)
Act, 1995.
Selected candidates will be initially posted at its Registered Office located at Kanchanbagh, Hyderabad.
However, BDL reserves its right to transfer any of its employee(s) in future to any of its Units/ Offices at
Hyderabad, Bhanur (Medak District), Vizag & upcoming New Projects and Liaison Office, New Delhi.

Every Ex-serviceman who has put in not less than six months continuous service in the Armed Forces
of the Union shall be allowed to deduct the period of such service from his actual age and if the
resultant age does not exceed the maximum age limit prescribed for the post or service for which he
seeks appointment by more than three years, he shall be deemed to satisfy the condition regarding age
limit.
The maximum age for Internal Candidates will be 55 years.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION:
I.
TECHNICAL ASSISTANT [TA] (MECHANICAL):
 QUALIFICATION: 3 years Diploma or equivalent full time course in relevant discipline recognized
by State/ Central Government (Relevant Discipline-Mechanical, Automation & Robotics, Production).
 POST QUALIFICATION EXPERIENCE: NIL
II.
TECHNICAL ASSISTANT [TA] (ELECTRONICS):
 QUALIFICATION: 3 years Diploma or equivalent full time course in relevant discipline recognized
by State/ Central government (Relevant Disciplines- Electronics & Communications, Electronics &
Instrumentation, Automation & Robotics, Electrical & Electronics).
 POST QUALIFICATION EXPERIENCE: NIL
III.
TECHNICAL ASSISTANT [TA] (ELECTRICAL):
 QUALIFICATION: 3 years Diploma or equivalent full time course in relevant discipline recognized
by State/ Central government (Relevant Disciplines- Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, Industrial
Electronics & Instrumentation, Plant Maintenance).
 POST QUALIFICATION EXPERIENCE: NIL

 QUALIFICATION: 3 years Diploma or equivalent full time course in relevant discipline recognized
by State/ Central government (Relevant Discipline- Civil).
 POST QUALIFICATION EXPERIENCE: NIL

SELECTION PROCEDURE:





The selection will be based on Written Test and Interview scores (weightages are 85 marks and 15
marks respectively). The final selection of the candidate(s) will be based on the merit.
The test will be of One and half hours duration. The test will comprise of Multiple Choice Questions
(MCQs) related to respective discipline.
Minimum qualifying marks in each of the criteria is 60% for General category candidates and 50% for
ST category candidates with respect to posts reserved for ST category (if sufficient number of
candidates are not available, the criteria may be further relaxed up to maximum of 45%).
Candidates need to secure the minimum prescribed marks for each criteria defined, to qualify for the
subsequent stage of selection.
PAY & PERKS:
i)
In addition to Basic Pay and DA, HRA as admissible will be paid. Company accommodation is
provided at Bhanur at the prescribed rates and HRA is not applicable at Bhanur.
ii) Perks @ 40% on Basic Pay will be paid. Other facilities viz., PF, Gratuity, Medical facilities etc are
applicable as per rules.

Travelling Allowance for Out station Candidates for attending Written Test/Interview: IInd Class
Sleeper to & fro Train fare or Bus fare (by shortest route or equivalent amount) will be reimbursed if
the distance is more than 30 Kms each way.
Candidates are required to produce original or photocopy of Railway/ road Transport Ticket(s) in
support of the journey performed. The blank TA forms will be made available at the Examination
Centre on the day of Written Test/ Interview.
Bus Route: Bus Number 203 from Koti and 102 M from Secunderabad Station.
APPLICATION PROCESS:
i) Eligible candidates have to bring filled in Bio-Data form as per proforma enclosed at
Annexure – I (affixing recent colour passport size photograph) along with Originals and one set of self
attested copies of the following certificates in support of Age/ Qualification/Experience/ Caste/
Disability etc for verification on the date & venue of Walk-In Selection as indicated above.
a) Copy of Date of Birth (SSLC / Matriculation Marks List as applicable).
b) Copy(s) of Qualification documents (Certificates and all years/semesters/groups marks statement).
c) Copy(s) of Experience certificates, if any (Appointment letters/Relieving letters/Service
Certificates/ latest pay slip) from the present / previous employer (s).
d) Copy of Caste / Community Certificate (Applicable for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer
candidates) (or) Self certified translated copy of the SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer
Candidates)/Disability certificate either in English or Hindi.
e) Copy of Disability certificate.
f) Copy of Discharge certificate for Ex-Servicemen, if applicable.
g) If the SC/ST/OBC/Disability certificate has been issued in a language other than English/Hindi, the
candidates will be required to submit a self certified translated copy of the same either in English or
Hindi.
ii)
Candidates who are blind/ low vision or affected by cerebral palsy with loco-motor impairment and
whose writing speed is affected can use their own scribe at their own cost during the written
examination. In all such cases where a scribe is used, the rules indicated in Annexure-II will apply.
Both the candidate as well as the scribe will have to give undertaking AS PER FORMAT
ENCLOSED in Annexure-II with a photograph of the scribe, confirming that the scribe fulfils all the
stipulated eligibility criteria for a scribe as mentioned. Further, in case, it later transpires that he/ she

did not fulfill any of the laid down eligibility criteria or had suppressed material facts, the candidature
of the applicant will stand cancelled, irrespective of the result of the written test.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:
1. Management reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of vacancies advertised as per the need or
cancel the advertisement itself without any notice.
2. Management reserves the right to fill or not to fill the posts and mere fulfillment of qualifications and other
requirements laid down does not entitle a candidate to be called for Written Test/ Interview.
3. Management reserves the right to increase/decrease the minimum eligibility criteria, etc. in order to
restrict/increase the number of candidates called for Selection process.
4. Applicants serving in Government, Quasi-Government Organizations & Public Sector Undertakings should
produce ‘No Objection Certificate’ at the time of Written Test/ Interview failing which they will not be
permitted to appear for the Interview.
5. Appointment of selected candidates is subject to verification of Caste, Qualification, Experience and
Character & Antecedents as the case may be with the Concerned Authorities, as per the Rules of the
Company.
6. The appointment of selected candidates will be subject to being found Medically Fit, as per the prescribed
health standards of the Company and they will be required to undergo medical examination prior to the
appointment after due selection.
7. Candidate must note that BDL follows only Central Government Lists and not State Government Lists for
SC/ST/OBC. Candidate applying under Persons with disability category may note that Government of India
rules will be applicable in this regard; otherwise they shall not be eligible for any concession.
8. Mere submission of application will not entail a right for claiming interview/appointment.
9. Only persons suffering from not less than 40% disability are eligible to be treated / considered as physically
challenged candidates as per the Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights & Full
Participation) Act, 1995.
10. The posts require good communication skills.
11. Only Indian Nationals need apply.
12. No correspondence on any matter is allowed.
13. Age, Qualification & Experience stipulated above should be as on 21 Aug 2015.
14. Management reserves the right to fill up the notified post and also to fill up the future vacancies, if any from
the valid panel of selected candidates as per the rules of the Company.
15. Candidates not fulfilling the essential eligibility criteria can be debarred ab-initio at any stage of the
recruitment process.
16. If the information furnished by the candidate in any part is found to be false or incomplete or is not found to
be in conformity with eligibility criteria mentioned in the advertisement, the candidature/appointment will
be considered as revoked/ terminated at any stage of recruitment process or after recruitment or joining,
without any reference given to the candidate.
17. All the details given in the Bio-data Form will be treated as final and no changes will be entertained.
18. Any legal proceedings in respect of any matter of claim or dispute arising out of this advertisement and/or
an application in response thereto can be instituted in appropriate Courts/ Tribunals / Forums in Hyderabad
only, which shall have sole and exclusive jurisdiction to try any cause/ dispute.
19. In case of Internal Employees, Qualification shall be considered as per Company Rules.
