Please go to www.fafsa.ed.gov. Apply Early! Coming Soon! 3rd Annual Financial Aid Awareness Night will be held March 10, 2015, 5:00pm - 8:00pm, in the University Center Ball room 3rd floor. Summer School Summer School application will be available online and in the office beginning March16, 2015. To ensure that your summer award is processed prior to summer registration, you must submit your Summer Financial Aid request form for review by the priority submission date of April 1, 2015. Verification Reminder Students who were selected for the verification for the 2014-2015 academic year, must submit all requested document(s) by March 16, 2015. If all document(s) are not in on or by the above mention date, your file will be CLOSED! Therefore, you will be responsible for any outstanding balance on your account. Coming Soon to the Financial Aid website and the Student Zones (in the dorms) “WE Care FL44” Class Attendance Requirement for Disbursement of Financial Aid Federal regulations require the verification of attendance prior to the disbursement of financial aid. You must swipe your Xavier ID at the beginning of each of your registered classes. If you have online courses, your instructor must send an email to attendance@xula.edu including your name, course name and number, and dates of class activity. Note: If you have lost your Xavier ID, you must purchase a replacement ID for $10 in Office of Auxiliary and Support Services—University Center Room 122G. Scholarship Requirements All first-time freshmen receiving any XULA Merit-Based Academic Scholarship are required to sign and submit a XULA Terms and Conditions Agreement. You must complete this process in order for scholarship funds to credit to students your account. The form can be found on Xavier website at: http://www.xula.edu/financialaid/documents/14-15/ScholarshipTermsConditions.pdf Note: Continuing students are NOT required to resubmit the Terms and Conditions form if one was previously submitted. Reminder: UNCF Scholarship All students are encouraged to register on the new UNCF scholarships website at https://scholarships.uncf.org/ . The UNCF scholarship website is a great tool for any student seeking scholarship funds to aid in funding his/her education here at Xavier. A. Your financial aid will post to your account once the following steps have been completed * Accept and submit your award letter on Banner Web. * Complete the Entrance Counseling (if you have accepted a Student Loan) at www.studentloans.gov .
