Important Dates
In an effort to keep you informed regarding updates and changes
on student financial aid, we will periodically send a financial aid
newsletter to all students. Please take the time to read the information below, as it includes important changes to your Spring
2016 student financial aid. We will continue to send newsletters as
important information becomes available.
Our goal is to receive feedback from you which
will assist us in serving you better in hopes of
making our students’ financial aid process
easier.
Apr. 4-8, 2016– Early Registration for Fall 2016
Apr. 15, 2016– FAFSA Priority Deadline
NOTE: Summer Aid Request forms will be available
beginning April 1, 2016.
Apr. 15, 2016– Summer Aid Request Priority Deadline
Session 1: May 23rd (5 weeks)
Session 2: June 27th (5 weeks)
Session 3: June 3rd (8 weeks)
Aug. 18-19, 2016– Fall 2016 Registration
Verification Time Frame
Takes 4-6 weeks to process. Priority Date to turn in
all documents is on or before July 1, 2016.

Counselors
During the 2017– 2018 school year Prior-Prior Year FAFSAs will be
introduced. Prior-Prior Year (PPY) refers to a policy enabling students
and families to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid
(FAFSA) using tax information from two years ago. For example, a
high school senior planning to enroll in college in Fall 2016 would be
able to file FAFSA using taxes from 2015.
