Please keep in mind that you are not eligible to receive Summer aid, if the following applies:
 If you have already received the maximum aid in Pell Grant, Direct Loan (Subsidized and/or Unsubsidized), Perkins or
SEOG allowed based on your grade level or reaching your aggregate limit during the 2015-2016 academic year.
 If you are not meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) in accordance with the SAP Policy. The policy is located at
www.xula.edu – look under Financial Aid, then view SAP requirements/policy.
 If you are classified as a “Transient”(Guest/Special Student) – Non Degree Student.
 If you have not been admitted as a certificate or degree-seeking student.
 If you are enrolling less than half-time (for Federal Loans, some Scholarships and some Grants).
A Financial Aid Counselor will review your eligibility, and a notification will be sent to your Xavier email account. If you are eligible for Financial Aid, you can review your award on Banner Web.
NOTE: 1) If you are awarded Summer Aid, and at the end of the Spring 2016 semester you are not meeting SAP,
your summer award will be CANCELLED. 2) Aid is based on your eligibility and the availability of funds. 3) If you
are a first-time student loan borrower for the summer semester, you must complete an Entrance Counseling and Master
Promissory Note (MPN) at www.studentloans.gov.
