CONNECTIONS
This workshop builds on the CNHR workshop
on risk mitigation systems held in Vancouver,
BC, September, 2009. Participants of that
workshop recognized and suggested that
land-use decisions are key to developing
disaster resilient communities and better
decision support could reduce disasters
(www.sfu.ca/cnhr/workshops). Contributions
to building better are an anticipated outcome
of this workshop.
