Good academic record with atleast 55% of the marks or, an equivalent grade in
a point scale wherever grading system is followed at Acharya in Jyotisha or
equivalent degree level, in the Jyotisha subject from an Indian University or, an
equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
Besides fulfilling the above mentioned qualifications, candidates should have
cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar
test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
Notwithstanding anything contained in afore mentioned clauses (1) and (2) as
per of the UGC Regulations, 2010 and subsequent amendments thereto,
candidates , who are, or have been awarded a Vidyavaridhi / Ph.D Degree in
accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and
Procedure for Award of Ph.D Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted
from the requirement of the minimum eligibility conditions of NET/ SLET/ SET
for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor.

Assistant Professor (Shiksha Shastra)
Essential Qualifications
1.
Acharya or equivalent Degree in Sanskrit and Shiksha Acharya or equivalent
degree with Sanskrit each with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent
grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed)

M.A. (Education in Sanskrit) and Shiksha Shastra or equivalent degree in
Sanskrit each with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point
scale where grading system is followed).
Besides fulfilling the above mentioned qualifications, candidates should have
cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar

Assistant Director (Physical Education)
Essential Qualifications

A Master's Degree in Physical Education or Master's Degree in Sports Science
with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever
grading system is followed) with a consistently good academic record.
Record of having represented the university/college at the inter-university/inter
collegiate competitions or the State and/or national championships.
Qualifying in the national level test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or
any other agency approved by the UGC.
Passed the physical fitness test conducted in accordance with these
Regulations.
However, candidates, who are, or have been awarded Ph.D. degree in
accordance with the "University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and
Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree), Regulations 2009, shall be exempted
from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/ SET for
recruitment and appointment of University Assistant Director of Physical
Education/College Director of Physical Education and Sports.
Physical Fitness Test norms:
(a) Subject to the provisions of these Regulations, all candidates who are
required to undertake the physical fitness test shall be required to produce
a medical certificate certifying that he/she is medically fit before
undertaking such tests.
(b) On production of such certificate mentioned in sub-clause (a) above, the
candidate would be required to undertake the physical fitness test in
accordance with the following norms:

Since the UGC has prescribed the above qualifications for teaching positions in all
higher education institutions for maintenance of minimum standards in consultation
with the Statutory Councils governing the approval of courses respectively, any future
modification in qualifications for appointment of teachers in universities/colleges
offering such courses will automatically be considered as adopted by the UGC as
prescribed qualifications for those courses.
OTHER CONDITIONS FOR TEACHING POST:
1.
The candidates must enter the relevant score in the Academic Performance Indicator
(API) based on Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) in case of Professor &
Associate Professor.
2.
The period of time taken by candidates to acquire M.Phil and /or Ph.D Degree shall not
be considered as teaching/ research experience to be claimed for appointment to the
teaching positions.
3.
The reservation for SC/ST/OBC candidates will be as per the Govt. of India rules.
4.
(i)
A relaxation of 5% may be provided from 55% to 50% of the marks at the
Master’s level for the candidates belonging to the OBC (Non-Creamy
Layer)/SC/ST/PWD category.
(ii)
A relaxation of 5% may be provided, from 55% to 50% of the marks, to the Ph.D
Degree holders who have passed their Master’s Degree prior to 19th
September,1991.
Non-Teaching:-
09.
Stenographer Grade-I
Essential Qualifications
1.
Shastri/Graduate from a recognized University.
2.
Computer Skill Test norms: Dictation 10 minutes @ 100 w.p.m., Transcription:
40 minutes (English)/55 minutes (Hindi).
General:
i.
Person having a minimum regular service of 7 years in the Sansthan which
includes 5 years service in the grade of Stenographer Grade-II will be eligible for
promotion.
ii.
In case no suitable person is available for promotion, the vacancy will be filled
in by transfer on deputation/direct recruitment.
iii.
Person working as Stenographer Grade-II in the pay band of Rs.5200-20200 +
2400 G.P. will be eligible for deputation.
10.
Stenographer Grade-II
Essential Qualifications
1.
At least 12th or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.
2.
Computer Skill Test norms: Dictation 10 minutes @ 80 w.p.m., Transcription: 50
minutes (English) & 65 minutes (Hindi).
Desirable:
1.
Knowledge of Sanskrit.
General Instructions: 1.

Employment in the Sansthan involves liability to serve anywhere in the county.
3.
The Sansthan reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts, at the time
of selection.
4.
Selection process for the posts shall be as per UGC/Govt. of India rules.
5.
The select panel of candidates of this recruitment process will be valid for one year and
any vacancy arising in this period will be filled up from the panel.
6.
Applications not accompanied by necessary supporting documents, self attested copies
of degree / certificates/ marks sheets/ experience certificate/category certificate/
reprints (wherever applicable) issued by the competent authority, two passport size
photographs and the incomplete applications shall be rejected summarily. The
application will also be rejected on following other grounds:
(i)
If the candidate is found not possessing essential qualifications during scrutiny.
(ii)
If the candidate fails to produce/ submit the essential documents in support of
claims made in application like education qualification, community certificate
etc.
(iii)
If the candidate is found using unfair means or adopting any malpractice at any
stage of selection process.
7.
Mere fulfilling the basic selection criteria does not automatically entitle a candidate to
be called for test/interview. If the number of application received is too large in
comparison to the number of posts, short listing of candidates may be done by
Sansthan on the basis of Academic records/percentage of marks/experience/adopted
criteria etc. for the purpose of calling manageable number of eligible and shortlisted
candidates to tests/interview.
8.
Any representation/ recommendation will make the candidature of a candidates liable
for disqualification.
9.
The columns in the applications form can be expanded if the space provided is
insufficient to furnish any information.
10.
Last date of receipt of application is 29.02.2016.
11.
The eligibility of candidates will be determined as on the last date fixed for receipt of
application forms i.e. 29.02.2016.
12.
Before applying for a post, candidates are advised to satisfy themselves about their
eligibility. No enquiry in this regard will be entertained.
13.
Separate application must be submitted for each post.
14.
Relaxation in educational qualifications, experience, age etc. to the reserved category
candidates will be permissible as per Government of India / UGC rules.
15.
Eligible candidates may apply on the prescribed application form accompanied by the
documents listed at S.No.6 of “General Conditions” alongwith an application fee of
Rs.200/- (Rs. Two Hundred Only). Application fee will have to be remitted through
demand draft/ Pay order favouring Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, New Delhi.
16.
Candidates belonging to SC/ST Categories, Women and Persons with Disability are
exempted from depositing application fee on production of respective category
certificate.
17.
Candidate should have a valid e-mail ID & Mobile no. which should be entered at
appropriate place in the application form and must remain active / valid until
recruitment processes are completed. No change in the e-mail ID and Moble no. will be
accepted once submitted. The candidate himself shall be responsible for wrong or
expired e-mail ID & mobile number.
18.
Candidate should note that their candidature at all stages of Recruitment is purely
provisional, subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions as per Recruitment
Rules for particular post & other orders / norms issued time to time by Sansthan.
19.
Submission of any false/incorrect/dubious information in application form shall
disqualify the candidate at any stage of selection processes (before or after
interviews).
20.
Date /Schedule of Skill Test/Written Test/Interview (as applicable) will be displayed on
Website www.sanskrit.nic.in. Therefore, candidates should keep visiting Sansthan
website www.sanskrit.nic.in for important announcement/information/corrigendum/
notices throughout the selection processes at various stages.
21.
Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
22.
Sansthan reserves the right to amend/modify vacancies notified and any provision of
this advertisement in case of any errors and omissions/deviation or to cancel the
advertisement and recruitment if the circumstances so warrant. The Sansthan also
reserves the right to cancel the recruitment if circumstances so warrant without
assigning any reasons.
23.
Candidates who are already employed must get their application forwarded through
proper channel or furnish NOC from employer with application. The last date of receipt
of application will not be extended on account of delay in transmitting application by
the concerned office. Advance copy of application without forwarding note or NOC
from employer will not be entertained.
24.
Candidates eligible for promotion are also required to apply in the prescribed
application form.
25.
No T.A./D.A. will be paid for attending recruitment process at any stage.
26.
Application completed in all respects should be addressed to the Registrar I/c,

in an envelope superscribing “APPLICATION FOR

_________________________” and must reach this office on or before 29.02.2016,
by 5:00 p.m. by regd./speed post only. The Sansthan will not be responsible for any
postal delay or other reasons.
27.
Applications received after closing date will not be entertained and will be rejected.
28.
Statutory Warning: Selection in the Sansthan is free, fair and merit based. Any
attempt to influence the selection process detected at any stage is liable to lead to
termination of candidature of service and legal action against the concerned individual
will be initiated.
