A Master's Degree in Physical Education or Master's Degree in Sports Science with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) with a consistently good academic record. Record of having represented the university/college at the inter-university/inter collegiate competitions or the State and/or national championships. Qualifying in the national level test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC. Passed the physical fitness test conducted in accordance with these Regulations. However, candidates, who are, or have been awarded Ph.D. degree in accordance with the "University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree), Regulations 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/ SET for recruitment and appointment of University Assistant Director of Physical Education/College Director of Physical Education and Sports. Physical Fitness Test norms: (a) Subject to the provisions of these Regulations, all candidates who are required to undertake the physical fitness test shall be required to produce a medical certificate certifying that he/she is medically fit before undertaking such tests. (b) On production of such certificate mentioned in sub-clause (a) above, the candidate would be required to undertake the physical fitness test in accordance with the following norms: Norms for Men 12 Minutes Run/Walk Test Upto 30 years Upto 40 years 1800 metres 1500 metres Upto 45 years 1200 metres Upto 50 years 800 meters Norms for Women 08 Minutes Run/Walk Test Upto 30 years Upto 40 years 1000 metres 800 metres Upto 45 years 600 metres Upto 50 years 400 meters Since the UGC has prescribed the above qualifications for teaching positions in all higher education institutions for maintenance of minimum standards in consultation with the Statutory Councils governing the approval of courses respectively, any future modification in qualifications for appointment of teachers in universities/colleges offering such courses will automatically be considered as adopted by the UGC as prescribed qualifications for those courses. OTHER CONDITIONS FOR TEACHING POST: 1. The candidates must enter the relevant score in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based on Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) in case of Professor & Associate Professor. 2. The period of time taken by candidates to acquire M.Phil and /or Ph.D Degree shall not be considered as teaching/ research experience to be claimed for appointment to the teaching positions. 3. The reservation for SC/ST/OBC candidates will be as per the Govt. of India rules. 4. (i) A relaxation of 5% may be provided from 55% to 50% of the marks at the Master’s level for the candidates belonging to the OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/SC/ST/PWD category. (ii) A relaxation of 5% may be provided, from 55% to 50% of the marks, to the Ph.D Degree holders who have passed their Master’s Degree prior to 19th September,1991. Non-Teaching:- 09. Stenographer Grade-I Essential Qualifications 1. Shastri/Graduate from a recognized University. 2. Computer Skill Test norms: Dictation 10 minutes @ 100 w.p.m., Transcription: 40 minutes (English)/55 minutes (Hindi). General: i. Person having a minimum regular service of 7 years in the Sansthan which includes 5 years service in the grade of Stenographer Grade-II will be eligible for promotion. ii. In case no suitable person is available for promotion, the vacancy will be filled in by transfer on deputation/direct recruitment. iii. Person working as Stenographer Grade-II in the pay band of Rs.5200-20200 + 2400 G.P. will be eligible for deputation. 10. Stenographer Grade-II Essential Qualifications 1. At least 12th or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. 2. Computer Skill Test norms: Dictation 10 minutes @ 80 w.p.m., Transcription: 50 minutes (English) & 65 minutes (Hindi). Desirable: 1. Knowledge of Sanskrit. General Instructions: 1. Application form can be downloaded from Sansthan’s website : www.sanskrit.nic.in. 2. Employment in the Sansthan involves liability to serve anywhere in the county. 3. The Sansthan reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts, at the time of selection. 4. Selection process for the posts shall be as per UGC/Govt. of India rules. 5. The select panel of candidates of this recruitment process will be valid for one year and any vacancy arising in this period will be filled up from the panel. 6. Applications not accompanied by necessary supporting documents, self attested copies of degree / certificates/ marks sheets/ experience certificate/category certificate/ reprints (wherever applicable) issued by the competent authority, two passport size photographs and the incomplete applications shall be rejected summarily. The application will also be rejected on following other grounds: (i) If the candidate is found not possessing essential qualifications during scrutiny. (ii) If the candidate fails to produce/ submit the essential documents in support of claims made in application like education qualification, community certificate etc. (iii) If the candidate is found using unfair means or adopting any malpractice at any stage of selection process. 7. Mere fulfilling the basic selection criteria does not automatically entitle a candidate to be called for test/interview. If the number of application received is too large in comparison to the number of posts, short listing of candidates may be done by Sansthan on the basis of Academic records/percentage of marks/experience/adopted criteria etc. for the purpose of calling manageable number of eligible and shortlisted candidates to tests/interview. 8. Any representation/ recommendation will make the candidature of a candidates liable for disqualification. 9.
