During an internship at Môme Sweet Môme you can put theoretical knowledge that you
acquired at university into practice. You will obtain valuable experience through your

A TEACHER IS A COMPASS THAT ACTIVATES THE

IN STUDENTS
What will I be doing?
The teaching side of the internship will involve between 10 and 15 hours per week of practical
teaching .
You will go through extensive training with our professionals to learn key aspects of teaching
a group of children. For example; discipline and control, how to engage and animate, and how
to adapt to different age groups and levels
What abilities will I develop?
The program focuses on the development of effective classroom teaching skills and modern
English language teaching techniques. Throughout your teaching experience you will learn a
number of professional and personal skills that you can use in any working environment.
You will develop 3 essentials abilities : Adaptability, Leadership, Persuasion, when you have
developed these abilities, you will become a great Ambassador
ADAPTABILITY
Teachers work in both private and public schools as well as our own language centers in and
around Paris. You will need to be efficient in very diverse social environments, with different
codes and rules which you will need to respect and adhere too.
You will learn to be adaptable, to adapt your way of being and speaking to others.
To be efficient whatever the environment, the public is a key ability in the professional world
PEDAGOGUE & PERSUASION
To be pedagogue is the ability to deliver messages in a clear and effective manner. You will develop
excellent persuasion skills. It is the main quality that a manager should have. An individual that has
the ability to explain and solve complex problems in a simple manner will be successful in the
professional environment.
To be a good pedagogue is to have the ability to transform people
LEADERSHIP
To be a good teacher with children it is necessary to develop strong leadership abilities.
Leadership is the ability to catch and retain attention and to make people want to listen.
Children are the most difficult audience.

The classes will also be the occasion to interact with school staff or with parents, who are always
in demand of understanding their children’s progresses and activities. Our best teachers are more

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Requirements :
Applicants must:
-Be an undergraduate studying towards one of the following degrees:
Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Education, Postgraduate certificate in Education, Bachelor of Science in
French and/ or TESOL Certification.
-Be on course for a 2:1 level degree.
-Share a passion for education
-Must be highly motivated, dynamic and flexible student to work in a variety of settings.
-Be an adaptable, personal team player with a can do attitude.
-Committed to learning new skills and must have held a position of responsibility at university, or school.
-Experience related to children and teaching is desirable but not applicatory.

Step No 3 : If the applicant has the right profile for the job, the contract
will be sent by mail to both university and the applicant himself.
A Welcome Pack will be given to each applicant on their first day.

Being the cultural capital of the world, Paris has so much to offer in the way of
impressive memorials and remarkable buildings. Whether it be the intricate design of the Royal Palace or the
Regal Cathedral attached to Hotel des Invalides you will never be struggling to find some magnificent
architecture in France’s capital.
Visit countless, world-renowned museums
The Louvre, Musee D’Orsay, The Pompidou, Paris beholds some of
the finest names in the art world and with good reason. Not only are the permanent exhibitions open almost
every day and one night per week, there are also countless temporary performances, exhibitions and shows
which you can attend to get a true feel for the Parisian world of art and culture.
Go out with the student community
With over (insert figure) students in the capital, Paris is no doubt a
wonderful hub for youth. With countless areas such as Le Marais, Belleville and Rue Mouffetard to supply
students with some affordable spots in order to relax after a day at work.
Attend events and exhibitions
A city as busy is Paris will never fail to supply some sort of demonstration or
exhibition for all to see. The exhibition centre in Porte de Versailles presents huge expositions on a weekly
basis for all needs and desires; whether that be chocolate, wine, animals or even comics!
