The following contractual posts are to be filled under different time bound projects at this
institute. General guidelines of contractual employment of Government of India and ICAR will be
followed.
Project 1: Outreach programme on “Monitoring of Drug Residues and Environmental Pollutants”:

Essential: M.VSc/M.Sc in Animal Nutrition/Biochemistry/Pharmacology with 4 years / 5 years of
Bachelor degree. Candidates having PG degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor degree and
2 years Masters degree should have NET qualification.
Desirable: Experience in handling sophisticated instruments like GC, HPLC, ICP especially in any
reputed laboratory
Rs. 25,000/- per month plus HRA.

Terms and conditions:1. This recruitment is subjected to terms and conditions in force in ICAR for such
appointments.
2. General ICAR guidelines for contractual employment will be applicable.
3. The appointment is purely on temporary basis and there is no provision of absorption/
re-employment in NIANP/ICAR after termination of the project. The service of person,
who engaged, will automatically stand terminated with the termination of the project
without assigning any reason thereof.
4. Age limit: 35 years for men and 40 years for women on the date of interview (relaxation
for SC/ST/OBC and PHC as per GOI/ICAR rules.
5. The short listed candidates will be intimated through mail / phone for attending the
interview.
6. The candidates will not be paid any TA/DA and will have to make their own
arrangements for travel, stay etc. for attending the interview.
7. Candidates selected for SRF will be encouraged to pursue Ph.D under Jain University,
Bangalore with prescribed terms and conditions.
