(cumulative) Need Based or lack of financial resources Materials to be submitted for the study abroad program must be typed. No faxed applications will be accepted. All documents must be submitted together as a single package. Transcripts and letters of recommendations must be sealed. Scholarship acceptance requires students to enroll in a minimum of six semester hours of coursework at PVAMU. In some circumstances study abroad may require enrollment in a specific course (to be determined at a later time). A. APPLICATION FORM Applicants to the Study Abroad Program are selected competitively from among persons who are in their sophomore, junior or senior year of college. The essay should describe 1) Interest in and/or commitment to an international service career; 2) The ways that your participation in the PVAMU study abroad program will help you achieve your goals; and 3) What you hope to gain from your participation in this year’s study abroad program.
