INSTALLATION PROCEDURES
For proper mounting, headboard material should measure 3/4" - 1-3/16" thick (max).
1. Drill a 2-3/16" diameter hole in desired location of the headboard.
2. Feed the wire and the bed light housing through the hole in the front of the headboard.
3. From the rear of the headboard, feed the wire through the mounting bracket and tighten the two (2) Philips head machine
screws through the bracket into the bed light housing.
4. Properly orientate bed light from the front to ensure correct position before mounting the bracket to the headboard.
5. Tighten remaining two (2) Philips head wood screws through the bracket into the headboard for proper mounting support.
6. Connect the wire from the bed light housing to the plug wire.
7. Plug the wire into the wall receptacle.
8. Flip the toggle switch to turn on the power.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
• Read all the instructions before installation. Save instructions for later use.
• Turn off the power at fuse or circuit breaker box before installation or any maintenance work.
• Wear rubber soled shoes and work on a sturdy wooden or non-conductive ladder.
• Product must be mounted in locations and at heights in compliance with National Electrical Code and local building codes.
• For indoor use only.
• Do not exceed the nominal supply voltage or amperage ratings.
• Installing contrary to instructions may cause unsafe conditions.
• Do not install any lamp holder closer than 6" from any curtain or similar combustible material.
• Warning: Risk of fire. Most dwellings built before 1985 have supply wire rated at 60°C. Consult a qualified electrician before installation.
• Warning: Risk of burns. Lamps are extremely hot when lit. Allow lamps to cool down in temperature before handling.
• To avoid a hazard to any children, account for all parts and properly dispose of all packing materials.
