Step by step instructions on importing into EndNote Web from Education Research Complete (EBSCO) 1. Add the items that you would like to import into EndNote Web to a folder by clicking on the Add to Folder option. 2. To view the results select the Folder option at the top of the page. 3. Select the items you want to import into Endnote Web by ticking the box to the left of the title. Click on the Export option. 4. Select the Direct Export to Endnote Web option and click on Save. Your references will be directly exported into the unfiled folder in Endnote Web. Note(s): You may need to manually enter the year and pages covered into the reference. Records for this database are all imported as a journal article, and in some instances manual amendments are required for items that are not in this format. If the direct export option fails you may want to go through the following instructions. 1. Add the items that you would like to import into EndNote Web to a folder by clicking on the Add option. 2. To view the results select the Folder option at the top of the page. 3. Select the items you want to import into Endnote Web by ticking the box to the left of the title. Click on the Export option. 4. Select the Generic bibliographic management software option and click on Save. Click on Save As on the internet browsers File menu. Save the results as a text file [*.txt] format onto your computer. 5. In your Endnote Web account click on the Collect tab and then click Import References. 6. On the Import References screen, click on the Browse button and find the File you have just saved, then click Open. Now click on the Filter drop down menu and select the Bus Source Prem (EBSCO) filter. Click on the drop menu labeled To: and choose the Group you want to add the references to. Finally click on the Import button. A message confirms the references have been successfully added.
