Contract Engineer (Mechanical) on contract basis for a period of ONE year, for its
Engineering Services Division, located in BANGALORE Complex.
REQUIREMENTS:
 Name of post: Contract Engineer (Mechanical)
 Qualification: BE/B.Tech with specialization in Mechanical Engineering from a
recognized University/Institution. First Class for GEN/OBC candidates and Pass class
for SC/ST candidates.
 Age: 25 years as on 01.12.2015
 Remuneration: An all-inclusive consolidated remuneration of Rs.18,000/- p.m
 Employment type: The requirement is temporary and on contract basis
 Selection Process: Selection will be through a Written Test & Interview (only those
who qualify in the written test will be interviewed).

CONTRACTS DEPARTMENT :
 Establishment of Term Contracts, In-house & time bound Customer Project
works etc.
 Maintenance of Annual Maintenance Contracts to meet Production needs,
Operation & Maintenance of equipment/systems etc.
PURCHASE DEPARTMENT :
 Procurement of essential items and spares for Production and Service
departments and customer related projects.
Candidates are required to produce all the original documents [SSLC Marks card, Degree
Certificate, Degree Semester Marks Cards, Caste Certificate in the prescribed format
available on BEL website, relevant experience certificate (if the candidate is not able to
produce experience certificate, Appointment letter and latest pay slip of the company in
original to be produced) and a copy of these documents] along with 2 recent passport
size color photographs on the day of Written Test/Interview.
Candidates will be permitted to attend the written test/Interview subject to fulfilling the
above criteria of Qualification & age.
Those who are unable to produce their degree certificate, semester marks card and
Caste Certificate in original on the day of Written Test/interview due to any reason what
so ever will NOT be considered.
Reservation for SC/ST/OBC will be as per the Government Guidelines. Only Indian
Nationals need to apply.
BEL reserves the right to debar/disqualify any candidate at any stage of the selection

4. The online registration site will be open from 02.12.2015 to 16.12.2015
5. No changes shall be allowed once the candidate has saved and submitted
his/her application.
There are two steps for submission of the application at the portal:
Step-1: Registration – this involves filling the preliminary application and submitting it.
The successful submission at the portal will provide the user id and a link to login and fill
the detailed application form.
Make note of the user-id that the system will generate and display on the screen after
successful completion of the step-1 (user-id and link will be sent to e-mail id furnished by
the candidate during the registration).
Step -2: Login through user-id provided to the candidate by the portal (i.e. after
completion of Step-1) and then fills the detailed application form. Candidates can view
results and download call letter after logging to the above mentioned URL using their
user id.
