We have applied for AB86 funds, some of which could pay for this position. CR is part of 70 consortia all sharing funds from the State of California. Our consortium has submitted a 101 page request for funds. We have no idea how much of our request will be fulfilled. We expect to hear the status of our grant as soon as May 2015 or as late as December 2015. Because this position is critical to the development and coordination of Basic Skills classes, we do not want to solely rely upon AB86 as our only avenue for funding this position. We anticipate that it will be grant funded through AB86 by the 2016‐2017 year.
