ALL Degree Applicable Credit classes must treat subject matter with a scope and intensity which require the student to study outside of class. Two hours of independent work done out of class are required for each hour of lecture. Lab and activity classes must also require some outside of class work. Grades are primarily based on skill demonstrations, participation, and written exam. A textbook is not necessary to the fulfillment of course objectives. Supplementary handouts are used when appropriate. Eligibility for Eng. 150/Math 105 is not a prerequisite for successful participation. Repeatability: Course is listed as repeatable because skills or proficiencies are enhanced by supervised repetition and practice within the class periods.
