1. CATALOG DESCRIPTION:
An activity course enabling students to develop assignments presented in DM22. Students will receive one-onone and small group instruction in the use of professional-level multimedia presentation software and hardware.

Rationale for Prerequisite, Corequisite, Recommended Preparation
Co-enrollment in DM 22 is required so the students can get the lecture information needed to complete the
hands-on assignments. DM 10/10L and DM11/11L, or equivalent, are required because they provide the
fundamentals of digital media design and technique assumed by this intermediate level course. DM20 or
DM70-74, and DM75 are recommended because they contain content which would enrich and enhance the
learning experience in this lab course.

1. COURSE OUTCOMES/OBJECTIVES:

Design and implement a large multimedia project using professional-level multimedia presentation software,
multimedia development hardware, and peripheral equipment.
Develop graphics, backgrounds, video clips, and sound clips using multimedia support software and hardware.
Analyze student multimedia projects.
Publish multimedia projects on video, CD-ROM, and the Internet.
