This request is for 12 new chairs for CA 107. On 2/17/16 one of the chairs collapsed on a student. This is a health and safety issue. The instructor
inspected all the chairs in the room and determined the need for 10 chairs due to safety. The request is for 12 chairs since School Outfitters requests
orders in multiples of 4. Since the chairs in CA 107 are very old, likely original to the college with their mustard gold and brown trim, having two
extras is prudent.

We have already worked with Maintenance to locate appropriate surplus chairs on campus this semester. We have already acquired all appropriate
chairs already in the college’s inventory.
