GCSE English Enhancement Programme Pathway 4 – Direct Delivery This is a direct delivery pathway meaning that you can either: a) Have the course in your college with one of our trainers – make a booking and work with us to decide on dates. If you have more than 10 delegates then courses can be run in your venue or shared with another institution. b) Attend an open course (see dates below). Rationale The training modules will improve your understanding of the GCSE English Language specification and assessment requirements. You will reflect on teaching approaches that motivate and build confidence. This programme caters for all teachers, tutors and trainers in the sector who are planning to teach GCSE English courses. The programme has been designed to support a wide range of participants. Participants in the pilot programme included those with experience of teaching GCSE English, those with experience of teaching Functional English or adult literacy as well as those with a primary role leading vocational learning.
