FOR FOLLOWING POSTS PURELY ON SHORT TERM CONTRACT BASIS FOR ONE YEAR
IITM is a premier Institute of National and International repute, devoted to research in various aspects of Atmospheric and Climate Sciences. The Institute has excellent infra-structural facilities such as High Performance Computers, Library, State of the Art Training facilities and other scientific support.
The Institute is currently looking for recruiting the following positions purely on short term contract basis initially for a period of one year and extendable depending on performance:

Name and no. of Post : Junior Engineer (I.T.) – 1 post
Essential Qualifications: : M.C.A./B.E/ B.Tech. in I.T. or Computers with minimum 2 years experience in System administration (Servers), Network administration,
Network security etc.
Desirable Qualifications : 1) Red hat certified (RHCE certified) and experience in various
Linux & Windows Server environments.
2) Cisco certified Network Administration (CCNA certified)

Desirable Qualifications : Experience in Atmospheric instrumentation or maintenance of instrumentation and data acquisition and control system/software on electronic instrumentation and maintenance.
