Year 13 A Level Revision Bootcamp 2016

Dear Parent/Carer,
The University of Warwick is committed to raising not only the aspirations of young people, but also providing them with the skills
to fulfil their maximum potential. As a result we are offering Year 13 students the chance to take part in a free 3 day A Level
Revision Bootcamp, in a subject of their choosing. Students will learn, revise and study one subject area intensively, with the
chance to review progress through assessments and 1-2-1 feedback. Content will also cover transitions to University and what to
do on results day.
Each day will be hosted on Campus, here at the University of Warwick, but delivered by qualified Teachers with years of
experience in their subject areas.
We are aiming to provide a packed few days which will be constructive, valuable and enjoyable, providing all refreshments,
resources and a chance for concentrated time on revision.
Who is Eligible?
You will have been given this letter and Application Form, as your child has been identified by their school as eligible to apply. For
further details please contact the school.
How to apply?
An Application Form is enclosed for you; we kindly ask that you and your child complete Part One, and you then return the form to
the school, for the teacher to complete Part Two.
We would expect Teachers to return the completed Application Forms by Friday 15th April, either by email or post from the school.
Please note that once an offer of a place has been made and accepted, attendance at all three days are compulsory, therefore we
kindly ask you to check that you have no existing commitments before returning the form to the school.
