The data is gathered 6 months after completion of the graduate’s course. This gives a
useful snapshot of destinations but does not account for those who have not yet
decided on or embarked upon their career path.
The survey only reports a graduate’s status on a particular census date, and this may
not reflect what they did either before or after that date.
Graduates pursuing certain careers are required to either undertake further study or
non-graduate employment in order to progress, for example on the media or arts
sector.
