Recommendation 1:
Faculty will review COB learning outcomes and will determine how to make improvements in learning that
will positively impact test scores. Discussions will be held to determine if curriculum changes are needed.
Recommendation 2:
Faculty will discuss course content with faculty who teach in other business areas to determine if content or
teaching methodology changes are needed to help BUAD students learn/retain knowledge.
Recommendation 3:
Faculty will talk with students to determine what changes in teaching methodology might be helpful to them
retaining knowledge in the core business areas.

Results were discussed and faculty determined ways to add quantitative work in classes to help students do
better on the MFT.

Recommendation 1:
The International Competencies Exam was revised in spring 2013. The revised exam will be used for the
first time in fall 2013. The Assessment Committee will review the test results and will talk with faculty in
departments about questions where students had low scores. Based on discussions, course coverage may
be changed to enhance discussion in areas of low scores.
Recommendation 2:
International business faculty will review course coverage and ensure that content includes major areas
included on the exam.
