To provide students with a foundation in the processes and institutions of the global economy. To introduce students to the analytical methodology of economics and finance.

Student Learning Outcome:
1: Students will apply fundamental Economic
Principles to solve new problems. That is, students will apply tools and techniques developed from theory to realworld situations and cases to derive meaningful results and conclusions.

1: B.B.A. Economics majors will score above the national average of the Major Field Test in
Business and Economics.

(average was 71). For Spring 2015,
