SGA Resolution 06-10-F
A resolution to return the white parking spots near Peck Hall back to motorcycle parking.
Whereas:
Students have expressed concern about there no longer being any motorcycle parking
near Peck Hall
Whereas:
The white faculty parking spots were once areas where motorcycles could park
Whereas:
While there is motorcycle parking near Cummings Hall and the Honors building, there is
currently no motorcycle parking on this side of campus.
Whereas:
This presents an inconvenience to motorcycle riders who may need to access buildings on
the other side of campus
Whereas:
Even more faculty parking has been reserved near the library which is not being used to
capacity, therefore more faculty parking near Peck Hall is not necessary.
THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED BY THE 73nd CONGRESS OF THE STUDENT
GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATION OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE STATE UNIVERSITY THAT:
Section 1:
The white faculty parking spots near Peck Hall will be returned to motorcycle parking.
