SGA Resolution 2-14-S
A resolution to post “Watch for Pedestrian” signs on entrances to campus
Whereas:
Many Students do not use crosswalks;
Whereas:
Drivers can often be distracted when approaching crosswalks;
Whereas:
Student and Faculty safety is important.
THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED BY THE 76TH CONGRESS OF THE STUDENT
GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATION OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE STATE UNIVERSITY
THAT:
Section 1:
Funding for the “Watch for Pedestrians and Cyclists” signs will be provided by
the Parking Services Department.
Section 2:
Nine “Watch for Pedestrians and Cyclists” signs will be produced.
Section 3:
If passed, a sign will placed at each entrance to the campus of Middle Tennessee
State University.
