A Resolution to commend campus police for their diligent service to the MTSU community
Whereas:
The MTSU Campus Police force takes commendable strides to ensure campus
safety for students;
Whereas:
The presence of police on campus creates a safe environment that helps prevent
unexpected and harmful events from occurring on campus;
Whereas:
Campus police make a special effort to interact with and establish a connection
with MTSU students.
THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED BY THE 76th CONGRESS OF THE STUDENT
GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATION OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE STATE UNIVERSITY
THAT:
Section 1:
An award for outstanding public service will be presented to the MTSU Chief of
Police who will accept it on behalf of the MTSU Department of Public Safety at
the 2013-2014 SGA awards banquet.
Section 2:
The award shall be a plaque acknowledging their commitment to campus safety.
Section 3:
This bill will take effect immediately upon favorable passage.
