4. Banner related:
a. DegreeWorks – Work is diligently progressing. DGW will be a tremendous asset to students and
advisors. The second on-site training will occur November 15-17, 2011.
b. Inventory – Planning to look into the module mid to late November 2011.
c. Faculty compensation/overload module is still on hold. Provost McArthur mentioned they are still
using a shadow system and consuming staff time to maintain. Updates and verification of faculty
appointments and employee data is complete. It was mentioned on the recently conducted employee
data update exercise that ethnicity, marital status and gender are optional reporting items. Debbie
mentioned Banner 9 has the faculty compensation/overload module ‘built-in’.

and operating system patches, postponed from March 17-18, 2011, will be applied. Please remind
your teams to be testing on TEST. Since this is a significant change, it was decided at the last
meeting to have functional leads acknowledge their areas have tested and resolved issues. The form
was emailed 10/26/11. It was asked if ITS could change the font to draw attention to TEST link for
users. Linda will notify the student team and Ninette will ask her team to perform testing as well.

It was asked if AggieAccess could have a message added to the login screen for unsuccessful logins,
“Login unsuccessful” use your Windows password to login to Aggie Access. If login is still unsuccessful,
please contact the help desk at 2454 or support@camerone.edu
An outages webpage is desirable. It will be optimal to post by semesters. Debbie will follow-up with
