ARABIC COURSE DESCRIPTION
The course tackles library legislations
related to The libraries in the Arab world
and worldwide. It presents models of these
legislations and how these legislations
affect performance of library services.
3. COURSE AIM
The course aims to familiarize students with both local and international legal issues
related to library and information sciences.
4. COURSE OBJECTIVES
1. Studying all legislations related to the libraries in Oman.
2. Identifying models of legislations in Arab world and some foreign countries
3. Realizing the difference between different legislations, their terms and
importance to organize work in libraries and information centres.
5. COURSE INTENDED LEARNING OUTCOMES

To enable students to know legislations regulating work in libraries and
information centers.

9. COURSE RULES
Attendance
- In case of 10% absence of teaching hours, a first notice shall be sent to the
student.
- In case of 20% absence of teaching hours, a second notice shall be sent to the
student and he will be deprived from entering the exam.
