Meeting called to order at 3:45 p.m. by Lisa Huffman.
Last month’s meeting minutes were approved.

1. Approved minutes from the previous meeting are posted at

New Business
1. Request for Program Modification – to delete the B.A. Romance
Language Education. Because of low numbers of students in the
pipeline and graduates, the English and Foreign Languages
department is requesting to delete the Romance Languages program.
The plan will be to contact all majors and determine a teach-out plan.
Claudia Edwards made a motion, which Stephanie Boss seconded.
The motion was approved.
Announcements/Discussion Items
A. Certification score update
B. Faculty Development Plan – A review of the legislation and regents’ policy
regarding unit faculty development plans was shared. Additionally, a
motion was made to add Stacie Garrett to the faculty development plan
review committee and was seconded by Greg Hoepfner. The motion was
approved.
C. CAEP Conference – Lisa shared information about how the plan to wait and
see how the new CAEP standards evolve while considering changes to our
programs. Also the possible use of Tripod surveys of P-12 students in our
student teachers’ classrooms as a new means of collecting student impact
data was shared.
