It is possible to work as part-time RA and/or on-request RA for more than one project provided that the maximum monthly payment (in any 30-day period) does not exceed the maximum amounts specified in the table in section III.c.2. 2. The 2nd Party undertakes to perform and deliver the works under the supervision of the 1 st Party (PI and the co-investigators), according to the responsibilities and deadlines determined by the 1st party as described in section IV.c. 3. This contract will be valid for the period specified above with the possibility of further extension, if deemed necessary and agreed by both parties. 4. The 2nd Party shall maintain complete confidentiality of all the information and data of the project and will not publish or release it to others. The 2 nd Party will also sign the SQU Confidentiality and Intellectual Property Declaration. 5. In the case of full-time employment, the 2nd Party shall be eligible for the medical coverage provided by SQU for its employees at the SQU FAMCO clinic and at the SQU hospital. 6. Unless specified No allowance or annual leave are applicable and no allowances, medical facilities or travel tickets will be provided for the spouse or children. 7. The 2nd Party shall comply with and respect all the pertinent rules, policies and regulations and perform the duties related to the project requested by 1st Party at any time at any place in the Sultanate of Oman. 8. The 2nd Party shall carry out his/her duties faithfully and honestly. 9. The 1st Party shall ensure safety of all SQU facilities (e.g.. laboratories, equipment,..etc) under the direct use of the 2nd Party. 10. Both Parties have the right to terminate this contract at any time; but after informing the other in writing one month in advance. 11. The 2nd Party is not entitled to any other benefits or privileges than what is listed herewithin. 12. This contract is renewable subject to agreement of both parties. 13. In case of contract renewal, the 1st Party shall have no obligations after the expiration of this contract period until the contract renewal is fully signed by both parties. 14. For expatriate research employment, the effective date of this contract is the starting date of the contract (indicated in part II of this contract) or the arrival date of the employee to the Sultanate of Oman whichever is the later date and provided this date is agreeable to the 1st Party.
