Traffic Alert for March 25, 2014
This notice is being sent for informational and planning purposes. Access to the campus
via University Drive will be impeded, and some interior campus roads will temporarily be
closed on Tuesday, March 25, 2014. This action is necessary due to the construction of
the new Recreational Sports facility. The scheduled over-sized delivery to Prairie View
A&M University will occur between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Please note
that there will be individuals stationed along University Drive to guide the delivery and
direct traffic as necessary. The road closures will be located at:
O.J. Thomas and L.W. Minor (Streets that intersect at the corner of the Willie A. Tempton
MSC Building and University Park)
Reba B. Evans and L.W. Minor (Streets that intersect near Owens-Franklin Health Center,
Delco Building and the University Park)
