This includes Undergraduate Research Experience and Creative Activity (URECA) grants and travel grants. The URECA Committee, composed of accomplished and passionate faculty representatives from five academic colleges, evaluates URECA proposals and reviews policy. The URECA budget is funded by MTSU, but three National Science Foundation-supported programs (LSAMP, STEP and REU) currently support undergraduate research on campus. URC personnel play a central role in Scholars Week and the Summer Research Celebration.
