Meeting was called to order by chair, Georganne Ross, with the following committee members present :
Charles Apigian, Randy Clark, Chris Stephens, Tony Halterlein, Justyna Kostkowska, Jane Davis, Ann
Campbell, Wendy Koenig, Don Craig, and Teresa Thomas.
Curriculum proposals and outcomes:
Before implementation of any item in the Minutes, the Provost’s Office must give final
approval.
Setting minimum GPA requirement (2.0) for minors in Business Law, Combined Accounting and
Information Systems, Business Communication, Entrepreneurship (BCEN), Office Management,
Information Systems, Combined Information Systems and Accounting, Economics, Economics/Finance,
Finance, Industrial Relations, Insurance, Real Estate, Real Estate/Insurance, and Entrepreneurship
(MGMT/MKT) - All Approved

New Business – It was requested that the committee look at 2 more proposals that were brought to the meeting
by their department representatives in order to expedite their processing. The committee agreed and the
following 2 proposals were accepted, discussed and approved:
Basic and Applied-Interdisciplinary Microanalysis and Imaging Center new course proposal titled
“Practical Training in Microanalysis
EMC/JOUR/RIM 1020 Course number/title change from Understanding Media to American Media and
Social Institutions
Non-substantive revisions in curriculum of existing Major, Minor, and Concentrations
There was no further business and the meeting was adjourned.
