Rehabilitation requirements are expected to enhance the treatment plants to their operating capacity of 2,000 cubic meters of water each day. About 650,000 residents of Baghdad will benefit from cleaner water. Al-Nasser Electrical Substation - Manshad, Dhi Qar Province Scope: This project involves installation of two new transformers, additional circuit breakers, switchgear, and ancillary equipment. Work on the site includes all civil, mechanical, and electrical construction work required for a complete substation. This project brings Dhi Qar province closer to its goal of connecting approximately 50,000 citizens to the national power grid to supply all areas with a reliable electrical supply. This project will help provide critical power to heat water for cooking, bathing and washing as well as sustained power for lighting, refrigeration and air conditioning for Al Nasser residents during the hot summer months.
