TENATIVE SGA Resolution 6-15-F
A Resolution to Promote Fitness Classes to the MTSU Student Body
Whereas: Currently the MTSU Campus Recreation Center charges $1 for their fitness classes for all
wanting to participate in each fitness class.
Whereas: Other colleges in our region do not a fee.
Whereas: Offering free fitness classes could increase the number of student’s participating
Whereas: More students Participating in fitness center classes promotes a healthier student body.
THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED BY THE 78th CONGRESS OF THE STUDENT
GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATION OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE STATE UNIVERSITY THAT:
Section 1: MTSU will remove the charge for fitness classes allowing all members of the recreational
center to participate in the classes freely.
Section 2: This will go into effect immediately upon favorable passage.
