Alycia Gillaspie, an MTSU Apparel Design major, won the “Project OR – Cycle 10” challenge at the Outdoor Retailer
Winter Market held in Salt Lake City, Utah. Gillaspie’s garment is a ski jacket with fully separating side zipper vents, a
high-low hem, and a pass-through pocket.
Students were limited to 48 hours to create a garment for outdoor activities using material and products from
businesses left at the exhibit.
